Online Training
Online training with The Boat Club, Harbour Sea School and Dorset Marine training.
Online training with The Boat Club.
We want to encourage people to follow precautions laid out at this time but also provide access to the information to get back on the water once restrictions are lifted.
- We’ve gone online with our VHF, Basic (Essential Navigation) skills, DaySkipper and Yacht Master theory courses.
Courses can be ‘upgraded’ when we’re allowed out again to top up in the classroom
- These are normally self study courses but over the next couple of months, we will compliment them with an virtual classroom element, you can learn some of the content at your own pace, then join us for online LIVE training sessions and workshops to complement the training.
- We are also providing Refresher and training workshops as well as bespoke 1-1 sessions that can be customised for your own benefit.
- Monday and Wednesday, we are offering VHF and Essential Navigation support – if you are taking the course then this is provided completely Free of charge, others can join the session for £10
Thursday evenings are Parkstone Bay Boaters evenings with the following agendas:
2nd April: Safety kit onboard the boat (a re-run of the popular evening in January)
9th April: Chart chat – everything you wanted to know about charts but were afraid to ask
These evenings are complimentary to bertholders and Boat Club members
If you would like a chart of Poole, or further afield to the Solent, we can still supply Imray charts by post.
Contact us at admin@harbourseaschool.com to sign up for any of the above.
Stay safe – Dom and Sarah
