The Boat Club launched the 2025 regatta season in unforgettable fashion this May with a stunning spring cruise along the Wareham River to the idyllic setting of The Priory Hotel. With the sun glistening on the water and a warm breeze ushering in the new season, members embarked on a flotilla of four beautifully turned-out boats for what has already become one of the social highlights of the boating calendar.
The journey itself was a picturesque delight—peaceful waters, birdsong overhead, and the unmistakable joy of the season’s first major outing. But the real destination was a feast for both the senses and the soul. Upon arrival at the private jetty of the iconic Priory Hotel, guests were warmly welcomed by the hotel’s owners, whose hospitality matched the grandeur of their historic riverside retreat.

Known for his atmospheric landscapes and bold textures, Sole presented an exclusive collection of new works within the elegant surroundings of The Priory.
